Lately, there’s a lot of awareness amongst people about what goes into their body and onto their skin. Organic skin care and beauty products are growing in popularity as people are discovering the benefits of living green. These products are a promise of safe and pure ingredients, which are as good as the food we consume. I was experimenting with face cleansers and my recent experience with a renowned brand wasn’t too great as it left my face with plenty of rashes. So, I was consciously on the lookout for some gentle products and that’s when I decided to take the plunge into the ‘O’ world with Nourish Organic Moisturizing Cream Face Cleanser.
The product claims “Fragrance-free formula gently washes away impurities without drying or irritating.
Advanced formula penetrates deep into pores to dissolve dirt, oil and make-up.
Aloe Vera cleanses skin without drying, irritating or causing redness
Cucumber hydrates, soothes and replenishes skin
Watercress rich in antioxidants to protect skin from stress and fatigue”
My Experience with Nourish Organic Moisturizing Cream Face Cleanser
Nourish Organic Moisturizing Cream Face Cleanser is probably the first all natural facial product that I’ve tried. And I’m glad that I did. It’s a pearly white cleanser with a very runny and slimy consistency even though the product name suggests it’s a cream. The initial whiff of the product that hit me was weird. It could be due to the Watercress extract which has a manure like odour naturally, but it is a miracle plant that does wonders to your skin. Since this is a fragrance free cleanser it took me a while getting used to the smell. Right after the first wash I could feel my skin breathe without the usual dryness other face cleansers leave you with. I’ve been using it everyday religiously and have noticed my skin remains hydrated and is becoming softer, healthier and clearer.
The cleanser is packaged in an easy squeeze tube with a flip top cap. Using it could get slightly messy, as some excess product does tend to squeeze out. A pump style bottle might’ve better suited this cleanser. Pricing wise it is slightly more expensive than a regular face cleanser, yet I feel it is worth those extra bucks.
This product is great for all skin types but a must-have for those with sensitive skin. If your skin is craving some TLC, go ahead and pamper yourself with this absolutely fab cleanser.
The Good
- Packed with natural products that nourish the skin
- Very gentle yet leaves skin feeling squeaky clean
- Lives up to the claims of not drying or irritating
- Paraben and cruelty free
The Bad
- Smells weird which could take a while getting used to
- Messy Packaging
Overall Verdict – 4.5 / 5
Price – $12.99 for 177 ml
P.S. Nourish Organic Moisturizing Cream Face Cleanser is available on Amazon but the price tag is way too high.

I want to try it too. But the price is high on Amazon. Need to wait for someone to come from the US.
@Sonali.. Thank you! You should definitely try it out if you can get your hands on it.
@Sangeeta.. Thanks for filling in for me 🙂
Great review Rachia 🙂 Seems worth the price…..
Swathi recently posted…Skin Cottage Shower Gel – Fruity Essence : Review
Swathi, it’s absolutely worth the price. I feel it’s a small investment which pays off in the long run than using multiple layers of make up to hide your flaws.
Is it SLS and phenoxyethanol free too? I am a great believer in what you put in and put on your body. Thanks for the review Rachita. 😀
Looking at the ingredients it doesn’t seem to contain both.
Ankita, it doesn’t contain SLS or phenoxyethanol as Sangeeta mentioned. It only contains potassium hydroxide which helps in lathering.
I’m so sensitive to smells so that might be a turn off if it smells weird :p haha It sounds like it performs quite good though!
Rainy Days & Lattes.. I’m also kind of picky when it comes to product fragrances. Honestly, it was a turn off for me too initially. Just managed to ignore and got immune to it because of the end results it gives me. It’s a part of my daily care regime now.
Sounds great !! I would love to try it out 🙂
Same here Bhavya. I really want to try it out.
Bhavya, try it out if you can. I bet you’ll love the cleanser.
Great review Rachita! Was unaware of this brand! xx

Thanks Emmy! I hadn’t heard about it much too. Picked it up from one of the stores and tried it out. You should be able to find it in the organic stores else you could buy it online too. Many a time, its the underrated products that perform well. I’m definitely going to try out some more products from this brand.
Would love to try it. Nice review.

It is on the expensive side, I do agree. But it’ll last you a while because a little is enough at a time to cleanse well. If used carefully you wont waste much of the product too.
Great review! Cream face cleanser sounds nice but not sure if it would be too heavy for my combi skin 😐
Anurima_KaS recently posted…Spa Ceylon Green Mint Cooling Foot Scrub Review, Price, Details
Thank you Anurima. The consistency is very thin not exactly like a cream as the brand claims. They must’ve added cream in the name ‘coz its a little silky to touch. It’s more like a combination of cream and gel which I think should work for combination skin without a problem.
That was a very detailed review, I’ll surely try this cleanser out. Glad you reviewed about it

That’s interesting! I find some of their products a little harsh on the skin.
Product looks worth the price but availability in India is an issue. I’m not someone who will pay more for just a cleanser. Lets see if the price go down on Amazon.

Availability is an issue for sure and the price on amazon is insane. Hope you get lucky with the price drop sometime soon 🙂 Or probably you could ask some friend to bring it from US whenever possible.
Yes, you are right that Organic products are gaining much popularity/ This product sounds good and I have praises regarding this brand. Good review:)
