TIGI Bed Head Rockaholic Dirty Secret Dry Shampoo

Summer is here and with it comes greasiness and oiliness and super sticky hair. Maybe this isn’t the case with everyone – but for me, my hair gets super oily thus becoming flat and limp easily. I try to wash my hair every alternate day but sometimes when I don’t have time I need to use something to bring life to my hair. Enter dry shampoos and TIGI Bed Head Rockaholic Dirt Secret Dry Shampoo.

The product claims to “The secret is you don’t have to shampoo everyday. Spray at roots to absorb excess oils, make hair smell fresh and keep it rockin’ one more night. This stuff is so funktabulous! Shake well before use.

My Experience with TIGI Bed Head Rockaholic Dirty Secret Dry Shampoo

Do I have a dirty secret, I do. I don’t wash my hair as frequently as I claim to and if there is something that can make my hair look not so bad it is TIGI Bed Head Rockaholic Dirt Secret Dry Shampoo. This was one of the first dry shampoos I had picked up and it has helped me a lot during harsh summers when my hair gets greasy and limp easily, when I skipped washing my hair and when I needed that extra boost to my hair.

TIGI Bed Head Rockaholic Dirty Secret Dry Shampoo

TIGI Bed Head Rockaholic Dirt Secret Dry Shampoo comes in a sexy looking long spray bottle. To use the product keep it a few inches from the hair and spray focusing on the roots. You can run your fingers through your hair or use a brush to spread the product. And within seconds you will notice that your hair looks refreshed, smells good, sans any greasiness and has a nice volume and bounce to it. TIGI Bed Head Rockaholic Dirt Secret Dry Shampoo has a nice refreshing citrus fragrance, which smells divine. The hair spray didn’t irritate my scalp in any way. With this product remember a little is more than enough, if you end up using more product you will be left with a whitish cast on your hair, which could take a while to go away. I have super oily scalp just like my face, which turns into an oil slick easily. The results lasts a day max for me. So don’t expect the result to last long. I sometimes use Baby powder as a dry shampoo, but I prefer using a product designed to be a dry shampoo for 2 reasons – it adds a good amount of volume and doesn’t leave a white layer behind unlike baby powder. I am almost done with this dry shampoo and will be moving over to my trusted L’Oréal dry shampoo next.

    1. Thanks Ankita. I like the L’Oréal dry shampoo to this as I don’t have to worry so much about white case. I’ll be trying the Bblunt one soon as well. I could do a comparison post if you want.

  3. I have to skip frequent hair wash because of hard water problem here! But never ever used any dry shampoo, you know I’m quite afraid of these kinda products. But this seems a great product to try as it helped YOU! Though it’s bit expensive, still would like to try. Can you suggest any other dry shampoo which is less pricey? Great review Sangeeta as usual 🙂
