My Experience with Philips Bikini Genie Bikini Trimmer
A bikini trimmer is an ingenious way to spruce yourself down under. You don’t have to fight with scissors or worry about nicking yourself with a razor. Philips Bikini Genie Bikini Trimmer is a bright pink battery operated bikini razor and trimmer. It comes with 4 attachments – a shaver, trimmer, grooming comb and a brush cleaner. The bikini trimmer attachments are washable, but you can’t use it wet. In fact I hate to admit it but I picked up this trimmer by mistake. I wanted to buy the model with wet & dry option, but both the products have the same name and ended up ordering the model which can be used only dry. But I am glad it is washable and problem averted.
Philips Bikini Genie Bikini Trimmer has a very sleek ergonomic design and is easy to use. Just turn the attachment and the battery will start buzzing and the trimmer is ready to use. It is very easy to change the attachments as well. Since the trimmer is battery operated it makes it portable and you don’t have to battle with annoying cords. The trimmer gives a clean shave every time and takes very little time. What I found was missing from this kit is a pouch to store the trimmer and it’s attachments. I have used one of my empty Fab Bag’s, but I would have really loved a pouch with this kit. Philips Bikini Genie Bikini Trimmer doesn’t come cheap, but it is a one-time investment that will last you ages. Finally if you are considering picking up a bikini trimmer I would suggest the model which could be used wet and dry. I’ll share the link for the same below.

Thanks Sudhaa. It is a great product and makes it super easy to tidy up.
Hi really nice review I want to buy this but I have some doubts can u plz clear them .1.does it cause any cuts and nicks
2.does it cause ingrown hair like shaving
3.are we supposed to stretch our skin whole using it
Thanks Madhumita. I haven’t experienced any cuts, nicks or ingrown hair with this. Stretching the skin does make it a little easier to remove the hair.
Thnx a lot for replying darling really sweet of u
And last doubt I have yaar does the trimmer comb work well ?
It is fairly decent Madhumita.
I use a Philips (a different model) shaver plus trimmer and it is working really great for removing hair. This sounds promising too & I will check this out next time. Nice Review!

sounds good, as of now happy with Gillette disposable ones. I love my braun facial epilator and store it in a fancy box-shape stationery pouch. All these gadgets should come with a mandatory pouch! 🙂

Thank you Anubhuti. You can check out the wet & dry model here http://amzn.to/1rei0bT there is an offer running as well.
I used to wax it up down there earlier but now I prefer just trimming it. Shaving and waxing can give rise to major problems. It is pretty natural to have hair there. Offcourse when you sport a bikini this can clean up contours at least. Nice product indeed. 🙂
Ankita recently posted…DIY sunscreen spray
I prefer trimming to shaving. I used to use scissors but those are rather risky and this cuts the chances of nicks a lot.
I have been planning to buy one for a long time. It is really a handy gadget during emergency. Thanks a lot for narrowing down my search.. will do for this one.

That was a nice post!! I never tried these before. Although I love wet skin shavers so that I can create a barrier between gadget and skin using foam. Still this seems nice workable option. Thanks for sharing.

Hi Sangeeta,
First of all thanks a lot for visiting my blog often, reading it and leaving your valuable feedback on the post!
Coming to this bikini trimmer, I came across this a while ago and wanted to know how it works. This one seems to be good. Glad it is battery operated. I have philips epilator with cord so I know how convenient this is. I agree they should have given a storage pouch. Even I’m going to store my epilator in my fab bag pouch.

Thank you so much for sharing this post with us . I interested in buying Philips Bikini Genie Bikini Trimmer but I am confused about its battery longevity or is there any replacement facility to replacing the battery if it does not work properly.
