L'Oreal Six Oil Nourish Nourishing Conditioner

I feel like I haven’t blogged forever. The activity on my blog has been rather slow for the last 2 months. First I took time to settle in to a new routine after coming back from the states and soon after cyclone Vardha hit Chennai and I was without internet for one month! That was one long month and my mobile data wasn’t working properly either. I felt so handicapped without internet and realized how much we were attached and dependant on it. Around the time my internet started working I fell sick, really sick and it turned out I had Typhoid. While I have recovered from the fever I am still very weak and I get exhausted easily and sitting and working in front of a computer is tiring. There have been a few posts that have gone up on the website but they were mostly guest posts. So here I am trying to push past the exhaustion and get back to doing what I love. Without anymore waste of space let’s get into the review.

Oils are a wonder product when it comes to both skin and hair care. Each oil comes with it’s own set of amazing benefits. I would love to use all oils but seriously I don’t have the time – read lazy. I decided to take a short cut and decided to try products infused with the goodness of oils and I found the perfect candidate in L’Oreal Six Oil Nourish Nourishing Conditioner. Read more to find out how it fared.

My Experience with L’Oreal Six Oil Nourish Nourishing Conditioner

I have a love-hate relationship with most conditioners I have tried. They either make my hair super soft and bouncy, but end up making my hair limp the very next day, or they don’t make my hair limp but barely soften my hair or reduce frizz. The only exception to this is my trusted The Body Shop Banana Conditioner. I tried L’Oreal Six Oil Nourish Nourishing Conditioner with a little bit of skepticism and while I wasn’t blown away by the results I was disappointed either.

L'Oreal Six Oil Nourish Nourishing Conditioner

L’Oreal Six Oil Nourish Nourishing Conditioner has a pale golden yellow colour and a very mild refreshing fragrance. Every time I used this conditioner I was happy with the shine it added to my hair – the same sort of effect I get if I use an overnight nourishing oil mask. It also manages to control frizz decently and make hair soft and manageable. The best part is the bounce which this conditioner adds to my hair, I would described it as being a healthy bounce (I’m not sure if this makes sense to you), though I would have loved if it managed to add more volume. Being someone with fine hair, I always look for products that add volume to my hair. The major con I see, which also seems to be an issue with most drugstore conditioners is the presence of silicones. Apart from this I enjoyed using this conditioner, but no way can it replace the only conditioner I truly love The Body Shop Banana Conditioner.

    1. Thanks Sonali. I am feeling a lot better but this definitely doesn’t seem like my year. Lots of ups and downs and its kept me from blogging. As for the conditioner that is a gamble you take with most conditioners.
