The moment you hit your 30s, you start getting paranoid about signs of aging (aunty-aging as some of us would call it :D) showing up on your skin. Ideally, you should start your anti-aging routine post your mid 20sbut we all don’t live in an ideal world, do we? In the process, we take our skin for granted (at least I did) and don’t bother about it till our birthday cake is adorned with the dreaded “30” candles. About a year ago, I forayed into the confusing world of serums. Thankfully, my dear friend Sangeeta was there to guide me about it. The serum names would just bounce over my head and made me wonder if I should’ve paid more attention during my Chemistry classes in school. My sensitive skin added to my fear of being able to use serums since they’re highly concentrated. I started using serums very carefully from a very popular, affordable brand.
A serum is a skincare product that you can apply to your skin after cleansing but before moisturizing with the intent of delivering powerful ingredients directly into the skin. Serum is particularly suited for this task because it is made up of smaller molecules that can penetrate deeply into the skin and deliver a very high concentration of active ingredients. This makes them great for targeting specific skincare concerns.
L’Oreal has just introduced their line of Revitalift Derm Intensives products. This new line of products was built on decades of scientific research at the L’Oreal Paris labs. For the first time, Revitalift Derm Intensives Products were validated in partnership with an advisory panel of dermatologists who performed a thorough review of formula & product development and comprehensive screen of independent clinical testing.
The product claims “Intensive hydrating 1.5% Pure Hyaluronic AcidSerum replenishes moisture for plumped, youthfully supple skin with bounce. The lightweight serum absorbs quickly with no tacky feel or residue.

MY EXPERIENCE WITH L’OREAL REVITALIFT DERM INTENSIVES

1.5% PURE HYALURONIC ACID SERUM
If you want to include anti-aging products in your skincare regimen but are scared to try out retinol-based products, Hyaluronic Acid is your best bet. It helps in keeping the skin hydrated and thus making it plump and healthy-looking. My skin quickly absorbed the L’OrealParis’ Hyaluronic Acid and left it feeling amazing. It didn’t have that sticky-serum-like feeling, which was another great positive. My skin felt incredibly supple with just one application. Over time, I noticed my skin got clearer and a few dry patches I had seemed to have vanished. It’s great for sensitive skin since I didn’t have any adverse reactions with repeated usage.

10% PURE VITAMIN C CONCENTRATE
Antioxidant-rich Vitamin C is the secret to youthful skin without any extensive cosmetic procedures. L’Oreal Paris’ 10% Vitamin C looks and feels like a lightweight body lotion. Initially, on the application, it feels a little sticky for a very short duration but is absorbed by the skin quickly. It helped me in achieving a uniform skin tone and gave a more radiant glow to my skin. A few of my fine lines also seemed to diminish after usage, giving me a youthful look. A little bit goes a long way for this product. I had no issues using it on my sensitive skin. Don’t forget to apply sunscreen while using Vitamin C as it can cause more sun damage.
Both the products are great and do what they claim but I won’t be purchasing these because I’ve been spoilt with more affordable options which are equally effective.
THE GOOD
1.5% PURE HYALURONIC ACID SERUM & 10% PURE VITAMIN C CONCENTRATE
- Lightweight
- Non-sticky
- Live upto the claims
- Fragrance-free
THE BAD
- High price point
OVERALL VERDICT
3.9/5

In general I have found Loreal products to not be very effective on my skin, also a bit too pricey (when compared with meager effects), so will give this one a miss too. Great review 🙂

Loreal hair products have worked decently for me however never tried much of their skincare. Your week wise results gives me confidence to try these.
I am always looking for good skin care products that contain hyaluronic acid. I will definitely check this out after reading your review.
L’Oréal products have always been great for my skin . This hyaluronic serum sounds great , though it seems lil pricy to me
after 30’s skin care is very important and seriously it also keep me in dilemma which product to use but you have clear my doubts
I will definitely check this product for myself. I was looking one from long. Thanks for sharing this information with us.
Nourishment for the skin is so important and the Revitalift Derm Intensives product seem to offer some really good solutions. Will check out their products.
L’Oreal always disappointed when it comes to skin care. Once a cream from L’Oreal gave me rashes and I tossed it in the trash bin. After that I never believed in L’Oreal for skin care.
Loreal products for skin care is new to me, thanks for sharing this great review. I agree the price is a bit high but I have used Loreal products for hair care and it is totally value for money in my case.
My mom keeps crying about her wrinkles and fine lines! These products look quite effective even though a little costly! Will get these for her and see how it goes! ❤
L’Oreal is really one of my favorites brands. I have tried L’Oreal revitalift derm intensives. The best part is this very light weighted. It really worked for me. ?
Thanks for sharing the details, I have used loreal products for me. But I feel it’s little Costly on my pocket.. would try this one .
Both the products looks so promising to me though i never had a good experience with loreal skincare products in past. These are also very pricey.. Well written review..
I so love the way how you highlight all the pros and cons of a product just so perfectly, will definitely check out this product on their website too, after reading this blog I surely am thinking to buy this one, thank you for sharing this review
I so agree with you we all ignore the early signs of ageing and start the routine quite late on life. Thus I think such products like Loreal Revitalift can help in taking care of the ageing skin and make one look younger for long.
Came across this post just right in time. I have been thinking of buying a good anti ageing cream. Your review has convinced me to pick this one! Thanks
