Khadi Pure Rose Water | Review

Khadi Pure Rose Water

There are things you can’t go wrong with or are rather very very hard to go wrong with. It’s like boiling water, a very simple act. Similarly there are products, which are hard to go wrong with. But yet somehow some products do fail us. This is a review of Khadi Pure Rose Water and how it failed to impress me.

Khadi Pure Rose Water

The product claims to “Can be used for relaxing eyes and for cleaning skin or use with face packs. Mix with bathing water for refreshing feeling.

My Experience with Khadi Pure Rose Water

Rose water has been a staple in my skincare since my school days. It is refreshing to splash this on the face after roaming around the streets. I love using Khadi soaps and a few skin care products I have tried from their range impressed me. I picked up Khadi Pure Rose Water hoping it would live up to my expectations.

Khadi Pure Rose Water

The rose water comes in a simple transparent bottle packaging. With the transparent packaging it is easy to see how much product is remaining. I have used this rose water as a toner and as a base to mix my face packs. I used this regularly for close to a month but I couldn’t see much difference in my skin. There wasn’t the usual refreshing feeling of using rose water nor any toning effect. There were day in between where I used water to mix my face packs instead of Khadi Pure Rose Water, and the results were the same. So I have concluded that Khadi Pure Rose Water is nothing but a nice smelling liquid. I’d rather just use water than spend a little extra money to get the same results. While the smell is refreshing it does have an artificial tinge to it. Yes, it is affordable and you get a great quantity for the price you pay, but in the end it really doesn’t do much.

The Good

  • Smells refreshing
  • Economically priced
  • Doesn’t burn or irritate the skin
  • Good quantity for the price you pay

The Bad

  • Does nothing to the skin, I’d rather use water to this
  • Availability can sometimes be an issue with Khadi products
  • Fragrance can feel a little artificial

Overall verdict:  2 / 5

Price: Rs. 80/- for 210 ml

  1. I love rose water, I like to keep my rose water in the fridge and spray it all over my face and neck in summers, I love the coolness it gives to my face. I have never tried Khadi one but Kama Ayurveda Pure Rose water is to dew for. It is so good. Try it out and you won’t be disappointed.
