A face mist is almost like an equivalent to a whiff of a perfume. All you need is a little bit of the product and you will see how miraculously you are transformed. Maybe I have gone a little over board with the explanation but the last few months I have really fallen in love with face mist and all the benefits they come with. One of the face mists I have been using a lot is the Kaya Refining Mist. Read more to find out about it.
The product claims to “This alcohol free toner helps detoxify skin and maintain its natural pH. Enriched with a unique combination of Purple Orchid and Japanese Cherry extracts – one of the most potent anti-oxidants found in nature. It rejuvenates the skin and gives your face a natural glow and healthy colour with regular use.
Directions for use: Moisten the cotton pad with toner, sweep gently over the face and neck OR spray directly on your face and neck. Do not rinse.”

My Experience with Kaya Refining Mist
I have mentioned in a lot of posts that I love multipurpose products. They are great for travel as they perform the function of multiple products. Kaya Refining Mist with Purple Orchid and Japanese Cherry comes in a white bottle with a spray dispenser. The dispenser makes it easy to use the product and the cap is quite sturdy and you can carry it in your bag without having to worry about any product spillage.
Kaya Refining Mist can, in fact, be used either as a face mist or a toner. I have noticed that the product can irritate eyes, and hence I prefer using this a toner by soaking the product in a cotton pad or I ensure that I don’t spray this close to my eyes. It is also alcohol-free, thus you don’t have to worry about your skin getting extra dry or irritated. The best part is the mild refreshing fragrance it leaves behind. Why do I love this for summers – it feels refreshing, it leaves the skin behind with a mild cool sensation, it hydrates the skin just the right amount making it feel plump and the best part it magically seems to make pores appear smaller. The product also claims to be rich in antioxidants and with the amazing way my skin has been looking; I can really see its benefits. Coming to cons – this is obvious I don’t need to get into it, Kaya Refining Mist has the nasty parabens as one of the ingredients, aren’t we all getting tired of seeing this ‘p’ word everywhere!? And last but not the least is the price, which some may find expensive for the quantity provided. This is definitely an amazing product to add to one’s summer skin care. My skin loving this so much I might just pick it up again.
The Good
- Refreshing and cooling
- Can be used as a mist and a toner
- Alcohol free
- Has a mild refreshing fragrance
- Rich in anti-oxidants
- Convenient spray bottle
- Help reduce pore size
The Bad
- Contains parabens
- A little on the expensive
- Can irritate if product gets inside eyes
