I love using hair packs, I really do. I don’t like the messy part of applying them or the part where you have to wait, but I love how that in an hour my hair becomes soft, smooth and wonderful. I love making my own hair masks, but I do buy store bought versions now and then. My recent hair care obsession is Jovees Regrowth and Revitalising Ready to Use Hair Pack. Read more to find out how it fared.
The product claims to “Jovees ready to use regrowth and revitalizing hair pack will stimulate hair growth and helps hair from premature greying. It will help add luster and sheen to hair. It will work as an excellent conditioner that will help improve volume of hair and strengthen the hair roots.
Method of use: Pour a few drops of water into the ready to use hair pack and stir well. Apply all over scalp and leave on for 45 minutes. Wash thoroughly with plain water. Use Jooves Henna and Ginseng Shampoo next day for washing hair.”
My Experience with Jovees Regrowth and Revitalising Ready to Use Hair Pack
Jovees Regrowth and Revitalising Ready to Use Hair Pack; like the name mentions is a very easy ready-to-use mask. The mask is brownish green almost black in colour and quite thick. To use just mix the paste with water or curd and apply it on your scalp. Though the product is meant for scalp I apply it all over my hair as well and leave on for around an hour. I then wash it off with plain water and avoid shampooing that day. The mask is coarse which makes is very messy and difficult to apply evenly.
The product name has regrowth so you’d think that this would somehow facilitate hair growth, but unfortunately, I didn’t notice anything like that. But I’ve got to mention that I did notice lesser hair fall after I started using this pack. Jovees Regrowth and Revitalising Ready to Use Hair Pack takes a lot of time to wash off and some may find that annoying. Every time I used this hair pack I found that my hair felt soft and smooth with an extra shine. There was also a reduction in the pesky flyaways. The mask also works very as a hair mask or as a simple hair wash. What I didn’t fancy so much was the rather very strong fragrance. I belong to a rather small sect of people who hate strong smells and this was a big no-no for me. The strong smell could have been due to the presence of the various herbal ingredients. Everything has a yin and a yang.
