Forest Essentials Facial Ubtan Narangi and Nagkesar

When Forest Essentials first opened their stores in Chennai I didn’t know much about the brand. I was looking for a gentle face cleanser and decided to explore their brand and I loved it. From them I loved their range. Having read a lot about Forest Essentials Facial Ubtan Narangi and Nagkesar, I picked up the ubtan hoping it will do wonders to my skin.

The product claims to “A clarifying blend of fresh, sun-dried ingredients for skin lightening and brightening. Regular use leaves the complexion soft and bright with a radiant glow.”

My Experience with Forest Essentials Facial Ubtan Narangi and Nagkesar

Forest Essentials Facial Ubtan Narangi and Nagkesar comes in a simple tub style packaging, which is easy to use and looks elegant too. The screw on top also has a white plastic separator that ensures the product doesn’t spill out. It comes with natural ingredients including Neem, Narangi, Marigold, Vetiver, Camphor and more. These combine to provide one of the best skin care products by being antiseptic, purifying, brightening skin and removing tan. The ingredients are rich in antioxidants, working effectively against acne and pigmentation and making skin look smooth and even.

To use the finely ground Forest Essentials Facial Ubtan Narangi and Nagkesar you can add either water, rose water, milk or curd. I sometimes like to add a drop or two of an essential oil like tea tree oil. I like using this as a 3-in-1 product where I use it first as a mask and when I am about to remove it I pat it with a bit of water and work it so that I can cleanse and exfoliate my skin at the same.

My skin feels bright after every use. With continued use I noticed my skin looking brighter, softer and some marks reduced. The amazing orange fragrance and the cooling sensation it imparts are added bonus points. It zaps oil and my face looks tighter but not stretched. This isn’t a non-messy mask either. It doesn’t apply evenly and can take a bit of time to wash off. If you can manage to get your hands on Forest Essentials product and don’t mind the rather high price tag do give it a try – it is a great ubtan.

  1. FE products are good (heard from other blogs but never tried) but the price tags are too high I feel. Homemade masks and face packs are much better and inexpensive 🙂
    Though nice review Sangeeta 🙂

    1. Homemade versions are definitely inexpensive. I do make my own ubtans at times. But sometimes it is easy to just open a bottle and use a product. I do get really lazy at times.

  2. Now that’s a million dollar question. It is quite on the expensive side but it does have some really good natural ingredients. But if you were to ask me if I’ll purchase again, I’ll only do if I have excess cash. This is a bit of a luxury product.

  3. Are you from chennai?? I am from chennai as well but living in US. Glad to find you 🙂 How is everything at your end? All fine?

BTW coming to review, it’s a wonderful. The only cons i could find abt FE products are that they are expensive. Otherwise they are good and I love there packaging 🙂

On the review, yes they are so damn expensive. Really wish FE products wouldn’t create a hole in my pocket.
