The days are getting chiller and while the cold weather means more boots and coats, it also means your skin has a license to get dry and irritate you. It’s time to incorporate hydrating products in every step of your skin care. For the last month I have been using Derma E Hydrating Day & Night Cream to nourish my skin.
Derma E Hydrating Day Crème claims to “Hydrating Day Crème helps reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles by replumping skin with moisture.
- Hyaluronic Acid delivers powerful hydration to keep skin soft, smooth and youthful looking
- Vitamins A, C and E plus antioxidant Green Tea help protect skin from environmental damage.”
Derma E Hydrating Night Cream claims to “Wake up to a healthy skin – This extra-rich, intensely hydrating night cream replenishes anti-aging moisture to skin while you sleep. Vegan based Hyaluronic Acid replumps the skin, reducing the appearance of dryness, fine lines and wrinkles. Also contains antioxidant-rich Green Tea and enriching Vitamins A, C and E to help soften and smooth the look of dehydrated skin.”
My Experience with Derma E Hydrating Cream Duo
I have been using Derma E Hydrating Cream duo for the past month and my skin loves it. Despite the excessive travelling, constant changes in climate; my skin has remained nourished, hydrated and soft. Both the day and night cream have the goodness of Hyaluronic Acid, Green Tea and aloe. Let’s get into the details.
Derma E Hydrating Day Crème
The day crème is lightweight and works perfectly under liquid and powder foundations. My skin felt nourished and plumped without any greasiness. I didn’t notice any skin irritation or breakouts – yay for people with sensitive acne prone skin. I use Derma E Hydrating Day Crème immediately after I get out of the shower and it sinks into the skin very easily and the added Vitamins impart a nice glow to the skin. My skin isn’t extremely dry yet and I found the nourishing effect perfect, but if you have extra dry skin you may need to reapply or use more product. The cream comes in a jar packaging which makes it easy to scoop out the product but isn’t as hygienic. The jar also feels sturdy but it is a little difficult to carry during your travels. There is a small plastic shield that helps prevent the product from leaking, however I wish it were more study. If there is one thing I’m not too fond of is that the ingredient list includes silicones and people with extremely sensitive skin may not like it. Overall, I find this a great day cream for fall and winter.
Derma E Hydrating Night Cream
The night cream is similar to the day cream but super nourishing. Derma E Hydrating Night Cream repairs your skin and hydrates it while you sleep so that you wake up to plumped up skin. In fact I used a little bit of this on my dry hands and I found that they didn’t feel dry anymore. Just like the day cream the night cream is packed with beneficial ingredients minus the presence of silicones. This is the perfect product you need after a long day.
Derma E Hydrating Cream duo is a great product to add to your daily routine. Their products are also eco-friendly and use natural derived ingredients.
Product sent by brand for review. This however has not affected my opinion in any way.
