AHAGlow Face Wash | A face wash that fights scars

AHAGlow Face Wash

I often play join the dots on my face. I don’t like it, but the fact is I have a lot of old acne scars, and the new acne which tends to break also end up leaving behind a scar. Every time I go skincare shopping I ask the sales representative to show me products which help lighten marks or generally have a brightening effect so that my marks look less prominent. I’ve used a lot of face washes, which claim to brighten skin, none made any difference and I almost made up my mind that brightening effect is a hoax till I found AHAGlow Face Wash. Read more to find out about this face wash.

The product claims to “Rejuvenates the skin by encouraging the shedding of old and dead skin cells. Reduces the number of superficial wrinkles. Improves skin texture and tone. Unblocks and cleanses the pores.

My Experience with AHAGlow Face Wash

I’ve had acne for a long time, it was rarely severe but it lingered and it still continues. I once developed a very bad reaction to a facial, which resulted in my face breaking out like crazy, and I was left with bad scars. The scars are deep on my cheeks and naturally end up looking a different shade. I have used tons of products, which claim to be effective on scars and marks, but most have failed me. But I never gave up hope, and I kept trying one product after another till I landed on AHAGlow Face Wash thanks to an acne discussion portal.

AHAGlow Face Wash

AHAGlow Face Wash comes in a simple transparent squeeze tube format. The face wash is gel like with dissolvable micro beads in it. The micro beads are supposed to help with mild exfoliation. The face wash has a very weird gel texture and is unlike any other gel face wash I have used. I have been using this face wash on and off for years and every time I use this my face looks brighter and bouncier. I have also noticed that with regular use this has lightened my marks to a certain extent. I could always use with more products, which help with any scarring. It is non-comedogenic and perfect for anyone with acne. It cleanses skin well without drying it out. However, if you have extremely dry skin it is best to top it up with the moisturizer. What I didn’t like much about this face wash is that it contains SLS. Availability is also an issue, but nowadays you can find this face wash on most shopping portals. Filled with the goodness of Aloe Vera and Vitamin E this is one of my favourite face washes. Do you have any favourite product that helps against acne and marks? Let us know in the comments below.

    1. Your best bet would be to approach your nearest pharmacy. This face wash is easily available in pharmacies. Even if they don’t, they should be able to easily procure it.

  2. I’ve used this facewash for about 2 years! It’s great for acne- the only drawback being it makes skin dry! But apparently there is an upgraded version of AHA Glow by the same manufacturers called Glogeous. However, it’s very expensive compared to this one!

    1. It’s definitely great for acne. Allergic to sulphates – that is bad. It just goes to say how harmful chemicals can be.
